How It Works
Whether you're managing your health through what you eat, trying to get real dinners on the table during a busy week, or planning a gathering with people you care about, my goal is the same: to take the stress out of cooking so you can spend more time enjoying good food and the people around your table.
Personal Chef Services
Hiring a personal chef should make your life easier, not more complicated. I'll take care of the meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking, and cleanup so you can enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals without the work.
Let's Get to Know Each Other
Every new client begins with a complimentary 30-minute consultation. We'll talk about your favorite foods, dietary needs, health goals, allergies, household size, and the types of meals that work best for your lifestyle.
Whether you're looking for family-friendly dinners, higher-protein meals, GLP-1 support, gluten-free options, or simply help getting dinner on the table, I'll create a plan tailored specifically to you.
Menu Planning & Approval
Before each cook day, I'll send a customized menu for your review and approval at least 48 hours in advance.
Need a few adjustments? No problem. My goal is to create meals you're genuinely excited to eat.
Grocery Shopping
On the morning of your cook day, I'll shop for fresh, high-quality ingredients based on your approved menu. Grocery costs are billed separately at cost, with no markup.
In-Home Meal Preparation
Using your kitchen, I'll prepare your meals, package and label them, and provide reheating instructions when needed.
You do not need to be home during your service, although many clients choose to be. Either way, you'll return to a refrigerator stocked with meals that are ready when you are.
Kitchen Cleanup
Before I leave, your kitchen will be cleaned and returned to the condition I found it in. The only evidence I've been there should be the delicious meals waiting in your refrigerator.
Cooking for Bariatric and GLP-1 Clients
A significant part of my work is with people recovering from bariatric surgery or taking GLP-1 medications. For many of my clients, it's the reason they found me.
The guidance from your surgeon or dietitian is usually clear enough. Protein first. Smaller portions. Specific textures at specific stages. What's harder is turning that into food you actually want to eat, week after week, when your appetite is unpredictable and cooking feels like more than you have in you.
That's the part I handle.
I work from the plan your care team has given you, not around it. In practice that means:
- Protein-forward meals portioned for smaller volumes, rather than full plates you'll leave half-finished
- Textures matched to your current post-operative stage, and adjusted as you progress
- Meals that reheat well, since one portion often becomes two sittings
- Options for the days when nausea or food aversion makes your usual favorites unappealing
- Real seasoning and genuine variety, because higher protein does not have to mean the same grilled chicken every night
As a board-certified nutrition coach with formal culinary training, I understand the guidance you've been given and I can cook to it. I'm not a registered dietitian and I don't replace your care team. If it's helpful, I'm glad to coordinate with your dietitian directly so we're working from the same plan.
Dietary Needs & Preferences
Every menu is customized to your tastes, preferences, and goals. I regularly accommodate:
- Higher-protein meal plans
- Gluten-free diets
- Food allergies and sensitivities
- Low-FODMAP diets
- Vegetarian and plant-forward meals
My philosophy is simple: food should support your goals without sacrificing flavor, enjoyment, or variety.
Pricing
Every Other Week starts at $650 per visit, plus groceries.
This is the schedule I recommend for most households. I cook a larger batch designed to carry you through two weeks, which means one cook day instead of two and a lower cost per meal than weekly service.
Weekly starts at $425 per visit, plus groceries.
Best for larger households, or when you want a shorter menu refreshed more often.
Occasional and one-time service is available at $475 per visit, plus groceries.
Final pricing depends on household size, number of meals, and dietary needs. Groceries are always billed at cost with no markup.
I serve Baltimore City and the surrounding counties. Clients outside a 30-minute radius are welcome; a travel fee is quoted in advance and included in your proposal.
